Essentially, we're all just a bunch of atoms bumping into each other. And for the most part, we're all doing our best to cope, to manage, to grow and learn while encased in our 3D selves. Sometimes we breeze through, completely in the flow of the cosmos. But more often than not we're just hanging by the skin of our teeth. People who perform acts of kindness do so because its within them whether or not I'm around. Those who are rude and mean are dealing with their own issues, which have nothing to do with me (provided I'm not being a complete jerk). That seems to be two universal truths.
As I become an ardent tug follower, I spend more time tuned into what sings to me, what's right for me, what creates a better me, a calmer me, a more fun me. I don't have to look without... only within. Because, I'm the boss of my own life.
I urge you to let go of all the worry, all the judgements, all the comparisons, all the discomforts that crop up when looking at the people around you. You have enough on your plate just getting good with you. And if you need a process to help you, Byron Katie has 4 questions she has her readers answer:
1. Is it true?
2. Can you be absolutely certain it is true?
3. How do you react, what happens when you think that thought?
4. Who would you be without that thought?
Read her book, watch her on You Tube, or connect with me to chat about it. I'd love the opportunity to help you become the boss of you!
