People who make their dreams come true
are working while they dream
Now a word on the end goal and getting there. What people have a habit of thinking is that as long as you're following your tug, the road must obviously be paved and straight... making it an smooth and easy ride. The reality is that just because you're following what's right for you doesn't means it always comes with comfort and ease.
For example: let's say your soul purpose is to be a doctor. You know you're meant to help and serve the sick and there's nothing else you want to do. You're sure this is it. So you take the steps to get to your end goal. You go to university as is the requirement. You get to the day-to-day grind and decide to follow your 'instant' tug, roll back to bed and skip class. You're just not feeling it today (if this is an irregular thing, then maybe you need a momentary break)... keep in mind that your daily decisions, although they may feel good at the time, may not feel good in the end. You've skipped so many classes because you couldn't be bothered, you didn't like your professor, it was raining, you had a sore throat, or you stayed up too late. The excuses are just that... excuses. If your tug is to become a doctor (insert whatever is your soul's purpose) then you have to do the work. And yes, sometimes it's friggin' hard. Weigh it all out... is this what you want? Are you closing the gap between the life you're living and the life you want? If so, then that's when you'll fee the magic. Keep on the path... keep doing the work... and make your dreams come true.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
