1. Get quiet
2. Ask your question
3. Stay quiet and pay attention to your body's reaction
4. Check in with your first impulse... FEEL IT!
5. DO NOT doubt it (this is where so many of us go wrong)
6. Make your decision and follow through
Practice with yes and no questions. Start slow. Sometimes, you'll want to say yes instead of no out of habit, out of expectation, out of wanting to please others. You'll know your yes means yes and your no means no by the way you feel. When you make decisions based on obligation then resentment, anger and frustration set in.
After a while, your tug muscle will get stronger. Eventually, you will check in with your internal compass and it will automatically lead you in the right direction. The more often you follow through and really listen to your tug, the more authentic your path will become. Clarity, peace and happiness will follow.
P.S. It's okay to stumble and fall and not get it quite 'right'. Course correct as soon as your tug gives you clues... if you want to work with me one-on-one, connect with me. Don't be alone in this, I'm here to help!
I would love to hear your thoughts.
